The prime minister’s traveling entourage included Environmental Protection Minister Zeev Elkin; Economy and Industry Minister Eli Cohen; Science, Technology and Space Minister Ofir Akunis; Health Minister Yaakov Litzman ,and Agriculture Minister Uri Ariel.
Israel and China signed a Memorandum of Understanding, agreeing to further cooperation between their respective legislative bodies and expanding the ever-growing relationship between the two countries.

The Chinese telecommunications conglomerate Xinwei Telecom Technology Group is buying Israeli satellite operator SpaceCom for $285 million, representing the latest of several recent Chinese purchases of Israeli companies and technologies.
Over 1,000 Chinese investors and strategic partners, as well as 500 Israeli high-tech companies and entrepreneurs from a variety of fields such as agriculture, clean technology, mobile and Web and medicine will gather in Tel Aviv in September to discuss further collaboration and investment.
