Israel's UN Ambassador Danny Danon told the UN Security Council that Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria are permanent, rooted in Israel's ancient connection to the land and not obstacles to peace.

Israeli security officials have reportedly warned that the region could be approaching a broader Palestinian uprising resembling the First Intifada.

'Twenty-one years ago, you were expelled from here, and now you are returning with a huge plan to resettle all of Samaria,' Wilders said.

The announcement followed Friday’s attack near Havat Gilad, in which two Israelis were killed.

Initial reports indicated that the civilian was stabbed during an altercation with Palestinians near Derech Avraham Farm after he and other Israelis rushed to extinguish a blaze.
