The name of the heroes of the Chanukah holiday - the Maccabim - has been adopted by a number of important institutions, products and places in the modern State of Israel.

US legendary singer, composer, actor and TV star Pat Boone will perform at Tel Aviv’s Mann Auditorium on March 1, 2016, and Chris Norman, legendary front man of the British rock band Smokie, is to perform at the Mann Auditorium on March 30th.
