Israelis have a very positive outlook on their lives as well as their future, a new poll shows.

While most Israelis are in favor of peace negotiations between Israel and the Palestinian Authority (PA), an overwhelming number do not believe it will lead to a lasting peace, a new survey revealed.

A new polling of Israeli public opinion, published just days ahead of Israel's Independence Day, shows that the vast majority of citizens understand that the Judea and Samaria region is not "occupied Palestinian land," and that Israel has a right to assert its full sovereignty over the area.
