Former President and the presumptive 2024 Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump urged supporters Monday to watch a documentary film produced by a former Meta/Facebook executive on the atrocities committed by Gaza terrorists during and after October 7th.
Trump took to Truth Social – the Twitter/X competitor of which Trump is a majority owner – late Monday night to encourage supporters to view Screams Before Silence, an Israeli documentary film produced by former Meta/Facebook chief operating officer Sheryl Sandberg.
The film, which was screened recently at a White House event hosted by Vice President Kamala Harris, includes testimony from Amit Soussana, a resident of a Gaza border town overrun on October 7th who was held captive in the Gaza Strip and raped.
Witnesses from the Nova Music Festival massacre and first responders who treated victims and collected the remains of those killed also testified in the film.
“The Documentary, ‘Screams before Silence,’ is incredibly difficult to watch because, sadly, it graphicly portrays the Death and Destruction that Hamas has unleashed,” Trump wrote. “I urge people to support the Documentary and watch, if able.”
The former president called on the terror group to release all remaining captives, and called for an American policy of “peace through strength.”
“We demand that all Hostages taken October 7th from Israel, and being held in Gaza, be released immediately, including eight Americans, and Citizens from over twenty other Countries, so that the war can come to an end. PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH!”
Trump’s Truth Social post also included a link to the full 57-minute film.
