The MT Mercer Street tanker was hit by multiple suicide drones, which killed the ship’s Romanian captain and a British security guard. Additionally, hijackers seized a vessel off the coast of the United Arab Emirates in the Gulf of Oman.

These Iranian attacks have drawn condemnation from the US, Israel, the UK, and Romania.
