This “Islamic scholar” also declared that a famous verse about murdering Jews merely predicts the future, but does demand violence.
American Islamic “scholar” Sheikh Yasir Qadhi recently delivered a lecture in which he said that Muslims were never anti-Semitic before the modern state of Israel was created.
Qadhi also claimed that an oft-quoted verse proclaiming that at some time in the future “Jews will hide behind rocks and trees, which will call to the Muslims and tell them to come and kill the Jews hiding behind them.”
According to Qadhi, this hadith is not anti-Semitic in the least, and merely describes what will happen in the future.
