Everyone recognizes the iconic film star Audrey Hepburn. But the late actress also has a lesser-known heroic story that involves saving Jews!

The beautiful and talented Audrey Hepburn was one of only 15 people to win Academy, Emmy, Grammy and Tony Awards. But there is much more to her legacy than Hollywood.

A humanitarian activist, she was awarded the US Presidential Medal of Freedom in 1992 for her work as a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador.

Even less known is that as a teenager living in the Netherlands under Nazi occupation, Hepburn helped the Dutch Resistance, doing whatever she could to save Jewish lives.
