Cape Town, South Africa, is one of the world’s most beautiful cities and a hot spot for tourism, but all that is changing as it runs out of water.

Rationing has already begun in an effort to stave off what has come to be known as “Day Zero,” when the government will turn off taps in homes and businesses, forcing residents to line up for their daily allotment under the watchful eyes of armed guards.

Cape Town has been suffering from drought conditions for a number of years, but has refused to accept offers of help from Israel on numerous occasions.

Israel has become a world leader in water technology, but Cape Town caved in to pressure by the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement and cancelled an important conference on water conservation because of Israeli participation.

The BDS movement calls that a major victory. What do you think?

Hopefully, it's not too late to help #CapeTown…despite their previous refusal to accept Israeli assistance in water technology! BDS is never a good idea. #CapeTownWaterCrisisVideo: Israel on Campus Coalition
