Olga Meshoe is a human rights activist from South Africa whose family suffered under apartheid, a system of institutionalized racial segregation and discrimination.

Between 1953 and 1990, Black South Africans were prohibited from going to “White” hospitals, traveling in “White” trains and ambulances and even from having relationships with Whites.
