A knife-wielding Arab terrorist who attempted to stab a police officer in Jerusalem was identified as a local doctor.

In footage released by Israel Police, a terrorist is seen strolling through the market in the Old City of Jerusalem before attempting to stab a police officer.

The officer neutralized the assailant, who was killed in the scuffle. Another officer was lightly injured.

The terrorist, identified as Dr. Khazm al-Julani, was a resident of eastern Jerusalem and director of a college for alternative medicine.
