Elon Musk’s initial moves after taking over Twitter are raising concerns that antisemitism and hate-speech will expand on the social media platform.

Musk already fired Twitter’s board of directors and other senior figures including legal affairs and policy chief Vijaya Gadde, making it unclear what the platform’s policies on hate speech and misinformation will be moving forward.

The South African billionaire’s acquisition of Twitter comes amid the backdrop of recent high profile antisemitic tweets by rapper Kanye West and basketball star Kyrie Irving.
