It’s hard to imagine peace with people who don’t want you to exist.

The international community views the Palestinian Authority as Israel’s natural peace partner and expects the Jewish state to negotiate a deal that allows for a two-state solution.

However, Palestinian leaders make it clear that they are opposed to a Jewish state within any borders.

Fatah official Ata Abu Rumeileh declared on television that the battle with the “occupation” will only be over when it is completely removed from ‘Palestine’ in its entirety, from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea.

Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas is the leader of the Fatah party.
