Since October 7th global antisemitism has sharply increased, even more so on college campuses. Jewish students don’t feel safe, are being assaulted, and some feel forced to hide signs displaying their faith.

President of the World Union of Jewish Students, Yana Naftalieva, is combatting this hate by joining with a legal organization called the International Association of Jewish Lawyers and Jurists that aims to bring antisemitic perpetrators to justice.

She also lauded the efforts of Jewish students worldwide for standing up and speaking out by rallies organized by the students themselves, and speaking to members of their individual governments to make changes happen.
