God goes above and beyond for us, so let us do the same for Him!

This week’s Torah portion is Beshalach, and in it we read about the miracles than enabled the Israelites to cross through the Red Sea and escape the Egyptians that were pursuing them.

The Jews then sang a song of thanksgiving to God, known as “Shirat Hayam” – the Song of the Sea.

One of the verses in the song is, “This is my G-d & I will glorify Him.” That verse teaches us an important lesson about the performance of mitzvot, or Torah commandments. Watch and learn about it!
