Holocaust survivor David Marks and fiancee

At 92, David’s message to all of us is simple: “Never give up.”

In January 2020, Holocaust survivor David Marks travelled to Auschwitz to mark the 75th anniversary of the death camp’s liberation, in a trip organized by the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial Foundation, chaired by World Jewish Congress President Ronald S. Lauder.

Six months later, some 60 survivors met again – this time on Zoom, due to the pandemic – to celebrate David’s recent engagement.

It’s never too late to find happiness!
