PortugueseThousands gathered at the Western Wall to celebrate with 75 Torah scrolls which were restored in memory of 75 heroes who were killed last summer.
Each of the 75 Torah scrolls represents an Israeli who was killed in the war against Hamas during Operation Protective Edge.
The ceremony was attended by the families of the fallen and number of high ranking officials like President Reuven Rivlin, First Lady Sara Netanyahu, Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon and many others.
