A new organization assisting immigrants in Israel is an outgrowth of a year and a half of “craziness” regarding the entry rules for people around the world coming into Israel during the pandemic.

Rabbi Dov Lipman, a former Member of Knesset, has established a new organization called Yad l’Olim – literally, a hand for new immigrants – in order to make their adjustment more comfortable as well as to encourage many more to come on Aliyah.

Yad l’Olim is an outgrowth of a year and a half of “craziness” regarding the entry rules for people around the world coming into Israel because of Corona, Lipman told Arutz 7.

Lipman is also pleased with the inauguration of the new President of Israel, Isaac Herzog, who, as the former head of the Jewish Agency, “can be a partner” in this endeavor.
