Hundreds of “Bnei Menashe” immigrants from India arrived at Ben Gurion Airport to become new citizens of Israel!

The new “Bnei Menashe” immigrants are converts from the region of Manipur in northeast India, where a tribe claims that a local legend establishes their identify as descendants of Menashe, one of the sons of Joseph.

The Israeli outreach group Shavei Israel arranged for formal orthodox conversions in India making the new immigrants eligible for the law of return.
