Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif speaks at a press conference in Tehran, Iran, Monday, Aug. 5, 2019.

Iran’s foreign minister recently tweeted a whopper, claiming that his nation “hasn’t attacked anyone in centuries.”

Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif recently posted to Twitter a lie so absurd it contradicts mountains of evidence to the contrary, including basic facts under the world’s collective nose.

According to Zarif, “[Iran] hasn’t attacked anyone in centuries.” That’s a total lie. Iran funds, arms, trains, and directs the operations Islamic terror proxies throughout the region, such as Hezbollah, Hamas, and the Houthis, which launch missiles at civilian populations in Israel and Saudi Arabia, among other locations.

Iran also orchestrates terror attacks, such as the 1994 Jewish center bombing in Buenos Aires, which killed 85 people and injured hundreds. Iran has been complicit in the murder of 400,000 people in Syria through its support of that nation’s brutal dictator, Bashar Assad.
