Israel’s Bible Competition remains a major annual event in the Jewish state, and the brand new Talmud Competition is designed to strengthen connections to Torah values, Jewish history, and the Land of Israel.

Talmud Israeli kicked off its first ever International Talmud Competition, attracting contestants from a number of countries who tested their knowledge of a body of teachings referred to as the “Oral Torah.”

The event is part of a wide-ranging initiative in classrooms around the world, designed to increase study of the Talmud and strengthen connections to Jewish values and history, with a focus on the Land of Israel.

Jerusalem hosted the event and the families that competed and attended enjoyed the heated competition and the electric atmosphere!
