President Cyril Ramaphosa recently expressed hope that his nation can emulate Israel’s approach to economics and technology.

South African President Cyril Ramaphosa sees Israel as a shining beacon of progress, incentivizing its citizens to innovate and create through special “challenge funds.”

President Ramaphosa made these comments during a recent economic policy address to women business leaders in Johannesburg. At the event, he said he hopes that South Africa can emulate Israel’s approach to funding research to create a high-tech economy similar to startup nation.

Thank you President Ramaphosa for your support and admiration!
