A Syrian journalist on the Al-Jazeera network told Arab viewers to stop believing preposterous conspiracies about Israel and instead learn from the Jewish people’s example.
In a recent debate on Qatar’s Al-Jazeera Network Syrian journalist Thaer Al-Nashef debunked a wide variety of myths prevalent in the Arab world, many of which are based on an anti-Semitic forgery called “The Protocols of the Elders of Zion.”
“Al-Nashef mocked the conspiracy theories that Israel grooms Arab citizens to become leaders of their countries, and he said that Israel is not responsible for the progress or backwardness of Arab societies,” MEMRI reported, which provided the translation of his comments.
Al-Nashef added that Arabs could learn something from the Jews’ ability to “make miracles out of the impossible.”
