Israeli athletes were awarded six medals at the Abu Dhabi 2019 Special Olympics World Summer Games, and three Israeli judo masters metaled at a Grand Slam event in Russia.

Israeli athletes continue to perform at peak levels at international competitions across the globe.

In the United Arab Emirates, the Israeli Special Olympics team cleaned up over the weekend, taking home six medals. This is a remarkable feat considering the Israeli team only has 25 members competing with thousands of other athletes vying for gold.

In Russia, Israeli judokas also brought pride to the Jewish nation over the weekend, at the Grand Slam competition hosted in Ekaterinburg.
