The Israel Nature and Parks Authority helps preserve endangered species, including these adorable sea turtle hatchlings.

Nearly all species of sea turtle are classified as endangered, due to marine pollution, climate change, poaching and more.

Another reason is that many baby turtles don’t make it from their nests on Israel’s beaches to the Mediterranean Sea.
