A new study shows close to 80 percent of Israelis use social media and almost 90 percent have smartphones, making Israelis some of the most connected people in the world.

“Israelis love being connected, because we travel a lot and meet people all over the world,” commented a young Israeli named Micah who lives in Tel Aviv.

Whether for work or pleasure, a new Pew Research Center study shows Israelis top the charts when it comes to social media activity and smartphone use.
