In this moving video, famous Israeli singer Ari Goldwag sings “Ad Ana Bechiya” – “How Long Shall We Cry?” – a song of yearning for the rebuilding of Jerusalem.

Although we celebrate the liberation of the Holy City of Jerusalem on Yom Yerushalayim, in Jewish thought and prayer, Jerusalem is not considered to be completely rebuilt until the Holy Temple is restored to its place on the Temple Mount. This song is about the Jewish yearning for the rebuilding of the Temple and remembering the terrible tragedies that have befallen the Jewish people and Jerusalem throughout history.

Goldwag brings power and meaning to this song of tragedy, showing that Jerusalem truly is the heart of Israel.
