Palestinian TV accuses Jews of being envious of religious rituals that Jews themselves introduced to the world.

In an Orwellian twist, Palestinian Sheikh Imad Hamatu appeared on official Palestinian Authority TV  on July 28th to accuse Jews of being envious of Muslims for rituals which the Jewish nation had actually introduced the world:

“They envy us because of our Friday, because we stand in rows during prayer, and because we say ‘Amen.'”

Jews began keeping the Sabbath in 1313 BCE upon receiving the Ten Commandments: “Remember the Sabbath day to sanctify it.” (Exodus 20:8). After arriving in Medina in 622 CE (almost 2,000 years later), Muhammad instituted public prayers on the market day when Jews bought their Sabbath provisions, i.e., on Friday.

“Amen” first appears in the Jewish bible (Numbers 5:22) and Jews began praying in rows to allow all worshippers to pray in the same direction (toward the Temple Mount in Jerusalem).

Watch as the sheikh ignores all these facts.
