An Orthodox Jewish candidate who challenged Jeremy Corbyn for his local seat broke into laughter when the Labour party leader claimed his campaign had not “descended into the gutter.”

Yosef David, the Jewish pro-Brexit candidate who ran against Jeremy Corbyn for the local seat in Thursday’s UK elections, registered some priceless reactions during the press conference at which the Labour party leader defended what many deemed a despicable campaign marred by anti-Semitism.

“We did not descend into the gutter,” claimed Corbyn, which sent David over the edge, bursting out into laughter.

As this clip attests, David wasn’t the only one who found Corbyn’s contentions laughable. Can you keep a straight face?
