“Rejoice with Jerusalem and be glad with her, all of you who love her” (Isaiah 66:10)

Members of Knesset Naftali Bennett, head of the Yamina political alliance, and Yamina member Bezalel Smotrich danced with joy at a Yom Yerushalayim (Jerusalem Day) celebration at the prestigious religious Zionist Mercaz Harav yeshiva in 2020.

In adherence to the coronavirus regulations that year, the gathering was small in comparison to most years, when the yeshiva is packed to the brim.

The MKs were there to address the gathering, but when renowned musician Yonatan Razel began playing lively hasidic music, expressing the yearning for the rebuilding or the Holy Temple in Jerusalem, the audience broke into rupturous dance.
