In an interview with The Media Line, Dr. Shaden Salameh, the first Arab female physician to head up a hospital emergency room in Israel, describes her pioneering role.

Salameh, married to a physician, is the mother of three children under the age of six.

Throughout her journey to become a physician, many people told her she would not be able to do it. But the greater the challenge, the more motivated she is.
