Prior to a UN Security Council debate focusing on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, a moment of silence was held in memory of California synagogue shooting victim Lori Kaye.

Responding to his German counterpart on Monday morning, Ambassador Danny Danon addressed the United Nations Security Council regarding Israel’s rights in Judea and Samaria, the ancestral homeland of the Jewish people.

Danon quoted the bible, reviewed the historical events that led to the establishment of the State of Israel, and explained the rights conferred by international law and the UN Charter.

At the request of Ambassador Danon, the Council opened the debate with a moment of silence in memory of Lori Kaye, who was murdered at the Chabad of Poway synagogue shooting.

Avant un débat du Conseil de sécurité des Nations Unies sur le conflit israélo-palestinien, une minute de silence a été célébrée à la mémoire de la victime de la fusillade Lori Kaye, victime de la fusillade, dans la synagogue de Californie.

Répondant à son homologue allemand lundi matin au sujet des droits d’Israël en Judée-Samarie, la patrie ancestrale du peuple juif, Dany Danon, ambassadeur d’Israël auprès de l’ONU, a cité la Bible, passé en revue les événements historiques ayant conduit à la création de l’État d’Israël et expliqué les droits conférés par le droit international et la Charte des Nations Unies.

À la demande de l’Ambassadeur Danon, le Conseil a ouvert le débat par une minute de silence à la mémoire de Lori Kaye, assassinée lors de la fusillade à la synagogue Chabad of Poway.
