Netanyahu arrives in Brasilia

Benjamin Netanyahu, the first sitting Israeli prime minister to visit Brazil, arrived with his wife Sara in the country’s capital for the inauguration of its new, pro-Israel president.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife Sara received a red carpet welcome in Brasilia, where they arrived Tuesday to attend the inauguration of newly elected President Jair Bolsonaro.

Bolsonaro, meeting with the Israeli leader this week, reiterated his commitment to move Brazil’s embassy in Israel to Jerusalem, Netanyahu said.
