In a stirring address to Congress, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu paid tribute to four remarkable Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) soldiers, showcasing their extraordinary acts of bravery and dedication.

Among the honored soldiers was Lieutenant Avichail Reuven, an Ethiopian immigrant who ran eight miles to the front lines during Hamas’s bloody rampage on October 7th. His swift actions and bravery saved countless lives.

Master Sergeant Ashaf Al-Bachiri, a Muslim soldier from Rat, also received recognition for his valor. Lieutenant Asa Sofer, who lost his arm and vision in one eye while protecting his fellow soldiers from a grenade, is set to return to active duty.

Lastly, Hero 4: Lieutenant Jonathan Ben Hamo, who lost a leg in Gaza but continued to fight, embodies the indomitable spirit of the IDF. Netanyahu’s heartfelt tribute to these soldiers underscores the strength and unity of Israel’s military forces.
