After Rep. Ilhan Omar complained that she was “stricken with PTSD” due to reports about US strikes in Iraq, a video surfaced of her laughing during a press conference on events in the Middle East.
U.S. Rep. Jim Banks, an Indiana congressman who served in Afghanistan, posted scathing tweets today targeting Ilhan Omar.
According to Banks, Omar’s claims that she was “stricken with PTSD” upon hearing about strikes on an Iranian terror leader in Iraq are “offensive to our nation’s veterans who really do have PTSD after putting their life on the line to keep America safe.”
Banks posted a video of Omar and Rashida Tlaib chuckling as Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee delivered serious remarks about the thousands of U.S. service members killed in Iraq.
Absolutely shameful.
