An Israeli security guard in his 20s is in critical condition after being stabbed outside Jerusalem’s central bus station.

A Palestinian from northern Samaria, near Shechem (Nablus), stabbed an Israeli security guard at Jerusalem’s central bus station early Sunday afternoon. The victim, in his 20s and in critical condition, is being treated at Shaare Zedek Medical Center.

Security forces chased and then subdued the terrorist, a 24-year-old who had entered the area illegally, according to the Shin Bet, Israel’s security agency.

Police recovered the knife used in the attack.

In the video, you can see the guards carrying out a routine security check before the terrorist suddenly attacked his victim and then ran.
