Dozens of Palestinians have been trying to force their way into an area of the Temple Mount that was closed off following large-scale destruction of Jewish antiquities under the direction of the Islamic Waqf.

Palestinian factions appear to be looking for confrontation on the Temple Mount again, barging into an area that was restricted due to illegal activities that permanently threatened Jewish artifacts on the Temple Mount.

The area, called the Golden Gate, has been closed off by court order since 2003 due to “renovations” that appeared designed to erase evidence of the Jewish people’s connection to the site, which is where two Holy Temples stood and remains the holiest place in the Jewish religion.
