In the run-up to elections, Palestinians eschew campaign speeches and peaceful protests, marching through the streets, firing automatic weapons in the air instead.
The Palestinian Authority is preparing for its first elections in close to a decade and a half, which may or may not actually come to fruition.
While Israel has a robust political process and free elections, Palestinians intimidate candidates by brandishing weapons, firing automatic weapons into the air.
Let’s hope innocent people remain safe amid such madness.
Armed men continue to display their displeasure with the Palestinian election process this week as another incident occured today in front of the home of a political candidate in al-Fawar, according to reports. pic.twitter.com/EYx1x2hfaz
