This video showcases the ever-changing skies over Jerusalem, revealing the extraordinary beauty of this gorgeous and special city as we approach Yom Yerushalayim (Jerusalem Day).

If Judaism was to have a physical heart, it would be Jerusalem. This is the capital city of Israel. And the Jewish people are always mindful of the fact that Jerusalem is central to Judaism and the Jewish people. At every Jewish wedding, Jerusalem is mentioned as part of the ceremony. At mealtimes, religious Jews recall Jerusalem in a special blessing after the meal. Three times a day, Jews face toward Jerusalem in prayer. The liturgy is full of references to Jerusalem.

We look forward to Yom Yerushalayim this year, next year, and every year after.
