The Iron Dome missile defense system took out a Syrian missile headed straight for a popular ski resort in the Golan Heights, but Israeli skiers didn’t let the interruption ruin their day on the slopes.

Mount Hermon in Israel’s Golan Heights is home to a popular ski resort that has enjoyed an embarrassment of riches in the snow department this winter, attracting skiers and snowboarders from across the country.

These winter sports enthusiasts were so charged up for a day on the slopes on Sunday, that not even a Syrian missile flying overhead could keep them away from the snow. While the resort eventually closed for the day on Monday, by Tuesday skiers were back on the slopes.

Watch as the Iron Dome missile defense system takes care of the missile on Sunday, leaving Israeli schussboomers to bomb the runs for the rest of the afternoon.
