The IDF has been preparing to take over Israel’s management of the coronavirus outbreak.

Israel declared a state of emergency in response to the coronavirus pandemic.

The Defense Ministry announced that the IDF is prepared to accept the lead role in the fight against coronavirus if it is asked to take on this role.
