A modern-day miracle: Tens of thousands of people converged on the Western Wall Plaza in the Old City in celebration of Jerusalem Day!

Ari Fuld is a sergeant in an IDF reserves elite paratroopers unit and assistant director of Standing Together, an organization that supports IDF soldiers.

In this video, from a rooftop in the Old City of Jerusalem, he gives us a perfect view of the Western Wall (Kotel) Plaza on Jerusalem Day – Yom Yerushalayim – where tens of thousands packed the site in celebration of the 49th anniversary of the liberation of the eternal Jewish capital.

He also explains the contemporary history of Jerusalem, which was under Jordanian occupation in 1948-1967.
