Congressman Ritchie Torres visited Israel in the wake of the horrific attack by Hamas on Oct. 7th offering words of support, touring ravaged kibbutzim, and speaking to relatives of hostages and survivors of the massacre.

He also reaffirmed the US’s support for Israel, despite the outside noise saying relations are crumbling. He said Congress backs and supports the war Hamas brought upon Israel and voiced support for the destruction of Hamas.

Congressman Torres expressed amazement at the resolve and fortitude of the Israeli public despite wartime and the 130 hostages still held in Gaza, he finished by saying ‘Am Yisrael Chai.’
