PortugueseThe Palestinians in this video have only the vaguest notion of the movement to boycott Israel and its true, nefarious objectives.
The anti-Israel BDS (Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions) movement anointed itself as the voice of the Palestinian people and the defender of their rights.
However, very few Palestinians appear to know what BDS is, or what its goals are.
The BDS movement promotes financial, academic and cultural boycotts against Israel, ostensibly as a nonviolent struggle against the so-called “Israeli occupation.”
While none of the Palestinian interviewees in this clip thought that BDS’ goal is to destroy Israel, they agreed on very little else. Most had a vague notion at best of the activities of this movement, which allegedly represents them.
Some of them even pointed out negative aspects of BDS!
