Despite having served five life terms in prison for murdering five innocent people, terrorist Marwan Barghouti has been hailed as the unifying leader of the Palestinian people.

The New York Times has labeled him a “Palestinian leader and parliamentarian.” Similar descriptions have been given by other news outlets.

He gets a generous salary from the Palestinian Authority and is looked upon as a hero by the Palestinian people.

Following his example, over 1,000 Palestinian prisoners with blood on their hands began a hunger strike this week to demand even better conditions.
