Nizar Amer, Israel’s Counselor for Economic and Social Affairs, slammed the Syrian UN representative who accused Israel of human rights violations earlier this month.
Such accusations completely ignore reality and distort facts, Amer said, calling the anti-Israel lies a failed attempt to distract attention from the brutal crimes of the Syrian regime against their own people, including women, children and the elderly.
While the Syrians practice serious human rights violations, Israel gives humanitarian aid to the victims, Amer said. “You continue to kill, Israel continues to heal.”
