Notwithstanding the overwhelming defeat of radical Democrats who aimed to defund the Iron Dome, they remain a serious danger, says analyst.

Prof. Eytan Gilboa, Professor of Political Science, Bar Ilan University, discussed with ILTV  the American Democratic Party bill that tried to defund Israel’s Iron Dome defense system.

The so-called progressive “Squad” of Democrats, who aimed to deny $1 billion in funding for the life-saving Iron Dome missile defense system, were overwhelmingly defeated in a bipartisan 420 – 9 vote on Thursday.

Although the funding was ultimately be approved, as Gilboa predicted ahead of Thursday’s vote, they remain a danger and “should be considered as enemies,” he said.
