Gaza Women

An anti-Israel NGO recently released a report blaming Israel for gender inequality in Gaza. But who is actually to blame?

In a recent report put out by Gisha, an anti-Israel organization that works to promote Palestinian “freedom of movement,” Israel was blamed for discrimination against women in Gaza.

The report states facts including the high unemployment rate in Gaza for women versus men and notes the disparity between Gazan men and women who receive business permits. It then points to Israel as being responsible for the inequality.

Perhaps if the organization truly cared about human rights, it would direct the blame at the Hamas terrorist organization, which rules the Gaza Strip, instead of faulting the Jewish state.
