The recent New York Times article recklessly asserts that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) are using Gazan detainees as human shields, distorting reality to fit an anti-Israel narrative.
This accusation ignores the IDF’s strict rules against any misuse of detainees and its established oversight that enforces humane, lawful conduct. The IDF is not just disciplined in this regard but transparent, actively investigating any violations of conduct, however rare they may be.
