As three massive wildfires, fueled by fierce winds, swept through California, Rabbi Zushe Cunin of Chabad of Pacific Palisades was busy saving lives.
He and his team heroically evacuated over 100 children to safety as flames rapidly approached their campus, describing the destruction as “unbelievable” despite a lifetime of witnessing fires in the state.
The wildfires, among the worst in California’s history, have scorched thousands of acres, displaced countless families, and left entire communities in ruins.
